SOOCHIPPARA FALLS

The Soochipara Waterfall, otherwise called Sentinel Rock Waterfall, is a three-layered cascade situated in Vellarimala town around 13km from the town of Meppadi in Wayanad. Privately alluded to as Soochipara ("Soochi" signifying "Needle" and "Para" signifying "Shake"), the half hour drive from Meppadi to Sentinel Rock Waterfalls offers beautiful perspectives of probably the best tea, espresso and zest manors in Wayanad, including the Harrison Malayalam and Chulika estates. The see up and down the drive is genuinely stunning. An extensive number of visitors visit this place particularly amid the ends of the week.
This district gets the second most astounding precipitation in Wayanad, beside Lakkidi. The Sentinel Rock Waterfall tumbles down from a stature of 656 feet. The pool arranged underneath the falls offers an incredible open door for a refreshingly cool plunge. The precipice confront is perfect for shake climbing. There are buckles on the stone face that merit investigating. Tree-top hovels offer dynamite perspectives of the verdant slopes and valleys of the Western Ghats.

The Kerala Forest Department has a registration under 1km from the falls. The passage to the falls is confined from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. An ostensible expense is charged for passage into the cascades region. Close by is another fall – Kanthampara, nourished by a breakaway stream from the fundamental waterway on the stones. Coming up short on the greatness of its cousin adjacent, the place is in any case perfect for a lackadaisical cookout. The climb from the principle street is simpler as well. The Soochipara Waterfall lies at a separation of 54km from Banasura Hill Resort.
